How to Build a Skincare Routine (Morning & Night)

Posted by Monsun Beauty on

So you've got your qasil powder. It's sitting on your bathroom shelf looking beautiful. But now what?

Don't worry — we've got you. Building a qasil-based skincare routine is simpler than you think. No 12-step routine required.

The Morning Routine: Wake Up & Glow

Your morning routine should be light, protective, and fast. Qasil works perfectly as a gentle morning cleanser.

Step 1: Qasil Cleanse (2 minutes)

Mix a small amount (about 1 teaspoon) of Qasil Powder with water in your palm. Gently massage onto damp skin in circular motions for 30-60 seconds. Rinse with lukewarm water. Pat dry.

Step 2: Moisturize (1 minute)

Apply moisturizer while skin is still slightly damp — this locks in hydration.

Step 3: SPF (Non-negotiable)

Apply your sunscreen — especially if using turmeric products.

Total morning time: 3-4 minutes.

The Night Routine: Repair & Renew

Nighttime is when your skin does its heavy lifting — repair, renewal, regeneration. This is where qasil really shines as a mask.

Step 1: Remove Makeup (2 minutes)

If you wear makeup or sunscreen, do a first cleanse with an oil-based cleanser. Organic Castor Oil works great for this.

Step 2: Qasil Mask (15-20 minutes)

In your Bamboo Mixing Bowl, combine 1-2 tablespoons of Qasil Powder with warm water to make a smooth paste.

Customize your mask:

  • For brightening: Add a pinch of Turmeric Mask Powder
  • For acne-prone skin: Mix with plain yogurt for a gentle powerhouse

Apply evenly, avoid the eye area. Leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.

Step 3: Night Oil or Cream

Seal everything in:

Routines by Skin Type

Oily / Acne-Prone Skin

Morning: Qasil cleanse → Matcha cream → SPF
Night: Oil cleanse → Qasil mask (2-3x/week) → Light moisturizer

Dry Skin

Morning: Qasil cleanse (less powder, more water) → Turmeric & Honey Cream → SPF
Night: Oil cleanse → Qasil + honey mask (2x/week) → Turmeric Face Oil → Cream

Combination Skin

Morning: Qasil cleanse → Zone-based moisturizer → SPF
Night: Oil cleanse → Qasil mask full face (2-3x/week) → Oil or cream

Sensitive Skin

Morning: Very diluted qasil cleanse → Gentle moisturizer → SPF
Night: Gentle cleanse → Qasil mask once a week only → Soothing moisturizer

Getting Started: Which Level Are You?

Total Beginner

Buy a Mini Jar ($14.95). Use as a mask 2x/week. Give it 2-3 weeks.

Intermediate

Get the Qasil + Turmeric Bundle ($50). Daily cleanse + alternate masks 3x/week.

Advanced

Go all in with the Deep Hydration Set ($95). Full morning + night routine.

Quick Tips

  1. Consistency beats intensity. A simple routine you do every day beats a complex one you do once a month.
  2. Mix fresh each time. Qasil powder stays fresh; pre-mixed paste doesn't.
  3. Patch test first. Test on your jaw for 24 hours before full face.
  4. Don't forget your neck. Whatever goes on your face should go on your neck.
  5. Take progress photos. Monthly comparison photos tell the truth.

Your Routine Starts Now

Whether you start with just a mini jar of qasil or go all in with the full set, your skin is about to enter its best era.

One ingredient. Centuries of wisdom. Your glow awaits.
